Overview

Thank you for using FooSnippets. We believe that your code and your snippets are your private intellectual property. Our business model is simple: we sell software, we don't sell data.

This policy applies to the FooSnippets application for macOS. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Data Collection & Storage

We do not collect any personal information.

FooSnippets is designed to be a privacy-first application. All the snippets, folders, and tags you create are stored:

  • Locally on your device's hard drive.
  • In your private iCloud container (if you enable iCloud Sync).

We do not have access to your data. Your snippets never touch our servers because we do not have any servers for storing user content.

Analytics & Third-Party Services

To improve the stability of the application, FooSnippets may collect anonymous crash reports provided by Apple via App Store Connect. This data is completely anonymous and does not contain your personal information or the content of your snippets.

We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs (like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.) that track your behavior inside the app.
